She stood outside for a few minutes before she knocked. No one said anything from the other side of the door so as she was going to knock again the door opened and in front of her was a huge woman. She had gray hair and glasses. "What do you want?!" she asked and looked angry down at Alyson. "Umm," this woman scared Alyson. "I'm Alyson Presscott. I'm the exchange student from Scandinavia.." "aaah, I see," the woman took off her glasses and looked down at Alyson. "Well, don't just stand there, get inside!" she grabbed Alyson's wrist and dragged her inside. "Take a seat," she said. Alyson assumed this was Mrs. Laurence. Alyson looked around. "Umm, where am I supposed to sit?" "Next to Isac," Mrs. Laurence said. "Who's Isac?" Alyson asked. A boy by the window lifted his hand. "Never mind, I found him," Alyson said and walked down the the empty desk next to Isac. "Hi," Isac smiled to her. He looked nice. "Hi," Alyson smiled back before she found her books. "You're pretty, I like you," Isac said suddenly, just like a five year old. "Umm.. Thanks?" Alyson said unsure. Okay, maybe he was a little weird? "Ms. Presscott!" Mrs. Laurence came walking down towards Alyson. "Yes, Mrs. Laurence?" Alyson sat up straight. "Did I hear you talk?" "He was the one talking to me," Alyson pointed at Isac. "Isac?" Mrs. Laurence looked at Isac. "What? I didn't say a thing," Isac said innocently. 'Oh that lying little...' mumbled to herself. "Did you say anything Ms. Presscott?" Mrs. Laurence slammed her ruler in Alyson's desk. Alyson jumped back. "No, of course not! I don't talk when I'm not allowed to!" she said quick. "Good! Now open your book on page 129!" "Yes, sir! I mean, Mrs. Laurence," Alyson corrected herself quickly. Mrs. Laurence sent her an evil glare before she walked back to the blackboard. 'How am I going to survive this year?' Alyson thought as she opened her book on page 129. BACK WITH ALEXANDRA: Alexandra was in the middle of writing a sentece in her book when someone poked her shoulder. She sat up and turned around. "What?" she asked a little annoyed. "I didn't really get your name," Nicholas said. Alexandra sighed. "It's Alexandra." "Oh, can I call you Lex?" Nicholas smiled. "No, you can call me Alexandra." Alexandra turned her attention back to her book. Nicholas raised his hand. "yes Nicholas?" Mr. Jackson said. "Can I show Alexandra the school?" he asked. "Yes you can," Mr. Jackson said. "Very nice of you to do that, Nicholas." 'WHAAAT?! NOO!!' Alexandra screamed inside of herself. She turned around and glared at Nicholas who just smiled. The time went by slowly but finally it was lunch break after one class with History, one with English and one with Science for Alexandra. She hadn't seen Alyson all day. And another thing: Nicholas was in all her classes. Alexandra sat down by a table and suddenly Nicholas came and sat down beside her. "What do you want?" she spat at him. "I'm going to show you the school, remember?" "No," Alexandra said and turned away from him. "Oh, come on!" Nicholas whined. "Why don't you just leave me alone? I don't really need a tour of the school." Alexandra shrugged. "Why are you such a bitch?" he suddenly asked. "Excuse me?" Alexandra turned her attention back to Nick. "Why are you such a bitch?" Nick repeated. "Why are you such a jerk?" Alexandra stood up. "I'm trying to be nice!" Nick stood up to. "yeah, by trying to get in my pants!" Alexandra started to walk away, she looked back to see if Nick was following and found him staring at her butt. "You're just a selfish pig!" she said to him before she walked away.
