Micheal and Gretchen are a couple. Gretchen got kidnaped by the company and Lincoln went to inform Micheal of her death. Micheal couldn't believe she was gone, he got out of prison to find her, but realised she had escaped. Some misunderstanding occured that lead to a Game of kill or be killed. This lead to Gretchen's death and Micheal's arrest. At the end Micheal is confused on the whole situation, it was just a Game, that went out of hand.
